A/N: This story is completely AU, Torchwood doesn’t even exist although the characters are all there in similar roles. It is set in the future which the prologue will explain.

A/N 2: This story was originally written for a different fandom but recently I haven’t been able to shake the feeling that it suited these characters brilliantly. I have posted the prologue and the first real chapter together to get started. This is my first addition to this community and I would be eternally grateful for any feedback.
