Summary: Something apparently innocuous falls through the Rift, but it grows into an increasingly dangerous problem. Things aren't helped by the fact that some members of the Cardiff Police Force have developed a distinct hatred and distrust of Torchwood, for reasons that the team cannot fully understand.
