Ianto loved watching Jack work. He got that serious look on his face, the subtle lines on his brow, his slight frown, his pursed lips. The Welshman smiled from the other side of his boss’s office while he finished whatever he was doing.
Finally Jack put down his pen. “Ianto.”
“You wanted to see me, Sir?”
Jack couldn’t help but smile. “Oh I do like it when you call me ‘Sir’”
“I assume you didn’t call me up here to tell me that?” he took some steps closer to the desk, unable to hide the smirk creeping from the side of his mouth.
“Smartarse.” The older man grumbled. “No, we need to order more uh... you know, those things.”
Ianto sighed. As much as he adored Jack, he’d never been one for administrative detailing. “Which things might they be?”
“Oh you know, the things that hold these together!” Jack held up a bunch of the papers he’d been writing on, waving them around.
“Paperclips, Sir?”
“Yes! That’s it.” Jack stood up and placed a hand on Ianto’s shoulder. “See, this is why we make such a good team.” He grinned.
The Welshman smiled. “That’s not the only reason.” He leant in and kissed Jack gently, running his tongue lightly over the bottom lip of his boss, nay, lover. Jack pushed back hard into the kiss, opening his mouth slowly to allow Ianto entry.
Tangling his fingers in Jack’s hair, Ianto pulled him in closer, relishing the warmth he felt spreading down his body. He could feel the other man’s hands running up his chest, finally resting by his neck, rubbing it gently. Opening his eyes for a split second, the Welshman caught sight of a red light he in the corner of the room. Something he hadn’t noticed before.
“What’s that?” He asked, barely pulling away enough to speak, before pushing back into the kiss.
“Mm?” Jack didn’t bother detaching himself from his younger lover’s mouth, there were things he was more interested in than whatever it was Ianto was asking.
“That light?” Ianto pulled away properly, squinting as he looked up at it.
Jack turned to see what he was staring at. “Oh,” he grinned mischievously. “it’s a camera.”
“Why?”
“Well, I know how you like to watch me, I’ve seen you.” He put his hands around Ianto’s waist, the cheeky look in his eyes almost too much for the Welshman to take. “I thought I could put on a bit of a show for you sometime.” He leant back in to finish what they’d started, but Ianto resisted.
“Jack, if I can see in here, so can the others.”

Downstairs Owen stared at his computer screen, just as he’d been doing for the past hour. The Rift hadn’t made a peep all week, there was no alien autopsy to be performed, frankly, he shouldn’t even be there. Then he noticed something, a camera had obviously been put in Jack’s office, the room which until recently had always been camera-free. He could see Jack and Ianto standing not far from the camera, talking. No, they weren’t talking, they were-
“Tosh! Gwen!” he called out, hardly able to believe what he was seeing. Yes, he’d always thought Jack was gay, but Ianto? “Tosh! Get over here, now!”
“What is it? Rift activity?”
Owen rolled his eyes. “Always the bloody Rift with you, isn’t it?”
Toshiko looked at the doctor’s computer screen. “What am I looking at?”
“Seeing things are we, Owen?” Gwen laughed.
“Shut it, no, look, Jack’s office.”
The two women squinted and looked closer at the fuzzy screen. “What about it?”
“Look who’s there!”
Gwen frowned. “Ianto and Jack talking. So?”
“Yeah but, what?” Owen pushed them aside. Sure enough, there the pair were, standing close, but not suspiciously so, talking. “Ok, a second ago I swear they were sucking each others’ faces off.” He protested, pointing at the screen.
Tosh laughed. “Sure Owen. I know you really want Jack to be gay, but it’s just not true, ok?”
“And Ianto?” Gwen grinned. “You’re losing the plot.”
Owen stood flabbergasted as he watched the women laughing as they walked back to their work stations. He looked up at Jack’s office to see Jack and Ianto standing by the window, smiling and waving down at him.
“Clever buggers.” He muttered.
