Summary: When the Hub explodes, and the cryogenic chambers are flung open, one of its inhabitants manages to flee the wreckage. Seeking revenge, he decides that the best way to hurt Captain Jack Harkness is through a certain Welshman. There's one problem, however – Ianto Jones is dead…
A/N: Whilst this is a fix-it, I have been encouraged to inform you that it is very bleak. It will be fixed, but it's neither easy nor fluffy.
This Chapter: If he had just been straight with him from the beginning, perhaps if he had pushed him away rather than selfishly seeking some sort of comfort following that year with the Master, then Ianto wouldn't be dead. Perhaps if he had done the right thing, rather than being fuelled by his selfish desires to keep his brother alive rather than ridding the world of the threat he posed, then Ianto might have stayed dead – dead but safe.
