Notes: This is something that came to me after I saw the trailer for the Christmas episode of Doctor Who. I liked the by line and then thought about the end of my story ‘To Die by Your Side’. Some people had asked me what the Doctor wanted Jack for so this will be a multi-chaptered story that explains. I hope you like it. It is mostly written – except for the end chapter which I’m hoping to do tomorrow so it should be about 10 chapters with a possible epilogue. Please let me know what you think.
