I need button help

I hope it's ok to post this here.
This is a call to all button-o-holics and any one eles who can help.  I need to know about any men's clothing with buttons, the more the better.   Can anybody recomend any web sights with pictures or discriptions of men's clothing. It doesn't have to be modern stuff, period, expecially british, would be great. Anything would be helpful, my series is stuck untill I get some info.
Thanks
Edited to add: I have
  1.  Ianto's normal clothes, suit, shirt, waistcoat
  2. All kinds of millitary jackets and clothes
  3. Gaiters & spats
  4. mens jackets and waist coats before the 1870's
  5. gloves
  6. long johns
  7. underwear from the victorian era
Thanks for all the recomendations and if anybody has any others, please let me know.

This is just a thought, in case you don't find what you need here... Have you seen little_details? It's a community for writers where you can ask questions about anything and everything for fact-checking, etc., so you never know, maybe there's a button expert over there? Good luck! :D

How about those old-fashioned cream-coloured wool combinations? (all in one underwear with buttons all down the front AND a buttoned flap at the back (for when a man needs to sit down for the loo).
Also there's the old fashioned braces which button onto the trousers (six buttons involved there).
And what about knee breeches with a drop front (buttoned either side at the waist) and with buttons at the side of the knee?
There's no end of period uniforms involving lots of buttons too. ;)

Thanks. I didn't know how many buttons were on braces.

No idea how you'd fit it into a story but spats (over the ankle to the shoes, generally white for fashion, (leather for working, dayglo nowadays but ignore those)) had lots buttons of down the side since they're very fitted, often pearl. Or gaiters, again the fashion kind, have even more buttons since they go to the knee.
Also gloves, leather ones often had buttons at the wrists, not as many for men as for women but enough to play with :)

Thanks, I've got an idea for gloves and part of one for gaiters

hello from the land of silent janto lurkers, your buttonbits have been so much fun! especially for someone with my dual fetishistic tastes for slash and clothed/semi-clothed queer sex, yum, thanks. I've wondered vaguely why there haven't been more buttons on the sleeves of your sports or suit jackets (not very exciting in terms of unbuttoning, I realise, just to add to the count); period waistcoats would give you a lot to play with, if you're already going with gaiters and gloves? oh gloves. yes please.

Thank you, I'm glad you like them.
I have a story in the planning stage that involves period jackets, waistcoats, & gloves.
