Author's note: Here it is: the beginning of the Dragon-Verse version of the Year that Never Was. I hadn't intended on doing anything with "Utopia", but the first meeting between Jack and the Doctor needed to be addressed. I honestly disliked how the Doctor treated Jack in the episode, and I hope in my version I've made Jack's responses a little bit more in line with how he is in my universe..and how I wish Jack would have really acted, after the Doctor's rather cavalier attitude toward his former companion.
